  • WE BELIEVE The deepest ocean, the tallest mountain, the most powerful animal cannot believe. Only man can believe. The height of man's success is determined by the depth of his belief

  • WE BELIEVE the immutable laws of the universe positively state that man reaps what he sows. That opportunity carries responsibility, example is the best teacher and fair play seeks what is right, not who is right.

  • WE BELIEVE sweat on the brow from honest labor is one of life's glorious sights and to show your fellow man the dignity and value of work is to increase his stature and self-worth. that real satisfaction comes from total effort fully expended in quest of a worthy ideal.

  • WE BELIEVE self-acceptance and personal growth combined with honesty and loyalty give man the inner peace and strength necessary for success and happiness. that character, faith, and integrity are the foundations for greatness and the man who doesn't stand for something will fall for anything.

  • WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ was speaking to you and to me when he said, what I have done - you can do also - and more. man was created God's own image and is designed for accomplishment, engineered for success and endowed with the seeds of greatness, Believing these things, we neither look down - nor up - to any man.

  • WE BELIEVE unconditional love - giving and forgiving - is the vital ingredient in man's search for meaning. that to live is to love, to love is to help and to help is to understand the difference between a hand and a handout. You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want

  • My Bible assures me that my past is forgiven and forgotten. That takes care of my past. Jesus Christ said, "I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly" that takes care of the present. John 3:16 assures me I will have everlasting life. that takes care of my future. with my past forgiven, my present secure, and my future irrevocably guaranteed, why shouldn't I be enthusiastically optimistic?

  • It is true. what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

  • You are the only one who can use your ability. It is an awesome responsibility.

As, you take this first step up the stairways to the top, please know that you are stepping out of the crowd at the bottom. The next step will now be easier and the view will be better

Segment one : Stairway to the Top

  • The foundation stones of honesty, character, faith, integrity, love and loyalty are necessary for a balanced success that includes health, wealth, and happiness.

  • Ability is important, but dependability is critical. The real opportunity for success lies within the person and not in the job; that you can best get to the top by getting to the bottom of things.

  • Prisoners of hope. people are always dreaming and wishing for someone else's ability o talent. the truth of the matter is, you already have the ability necessary for success. the story of life repeatedly assures you that if you will sue what you have, you will be given more to use. Life also tells you that if you don't use it, you will lose it.

  • Keep reading. action is the manifestation of learning. Just as "faith without works is dead," learning without action isn't learning.

  • Unless and until you do something with what you have learned, you might as well not have learned it. The person who won't read is no better off than the person who can't read. The person who knows but won't use success principles and information is not better off than the person who doesn't know them

  • Success is not a destination, It is a journey, it is the direction in which you are traveling

  • It's what's inside you what will make you go up. You can get what you want instead of having to want what you have. success is easy after you believe. But first you must believe

    Segment Two : Your Self-image

  • You cannot consistently perform in a manner that is inconsistent with the way you see yourself. see yourself as a capable, deserving person and you will be, do and have.

  • Healthy self-acceptance. You must accept yourself before you can really like anyone else or before you can accept the fact that you deserve success and happiness. the individual with a bad case of "I" trouble is really suffering from an extremely poor self-image.

  • A strong positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success in life.

  • Causes of a poor self-image. I am convinced that a poor self-image starts with the fact that we live in a negative society and deal constantly with negative individuals.
    The causes of poor self-image

    1. your ability, appearance, or intelligence has been ridiculed or questioned repeatedly by parents, teachers, friends, and others in authority. we wee ourselves through the negative eyes of others.

    2. the tendency to confuse failure in a project with failure in life. Failure is an event, not a person.

    3. unrealistic and unfair comparison of experience. we generally make the mistake of comparing our experience with another person's experience. we exaggerate their their successful experience and downgrade our own success. Experience has nothing to do with ability.

    4. comparing your worst features to someone else's best features.

  • Einstein pointed out that incorrect input require eleven or more correct inputs to negate the erroneous information. It takes a number of "right thinking" deposits to overcome those "stinking thinking"

  • When we can identify a problem and face the problem with confidence and enthusiasm, the solution is on the way.

  • Perhaps the most noticeable manifestation of a poor self-image is the way a person reacts to criticism and the way he reacts to laughter

  • No one on the face of this earth can make you feel inferior without your permission, and you will like yourself too much to give that permission.

  • You are somebody because God doesn't take time to make a nobody. and once you learn how much you matter to God, you don't have to go out and show the world how much you matter.

  • Accomplishment feedback. one reason many people never attempt new things is their fear of failure. If possible, start any new venture with a phase or portion you are confident you can handle, then transfer that initial accomplishment from one area of success to another

  • Don't watch soap opera. when you view life in negative perspective over a long period of time, you identify with the situations which most nearly parallel your own.

  • The major difference between the big shot and the little shot is this: the big shot is just a little shot who kept on shooting.

  • It's not who's right that is important, it's what's right.

  • If you set the example you will not have to set the rules.

  • You don't drown by falling into water, you only drown if you stay there. It is all right to get down, but don't get down on yourself. You are not beaten by being knocked down. You are only beaten if you stay down.

Segment Three: Your relationship with others

  • The way you see others. Life is an echo. what you send out comes back. what you sow you reap. what you give you get. what you see in others exists in you. if you are looking for the best way to reap the most reward in all areas of life you should look for the good in every person and in every situation. you treat people exactly like you see them. Different treatment brings on different results. The way you see people is the way you treat them and the way you treat them is the way they often become.

  • The greatest good we can do for anyone is not to share our wealth with them but rather to reveal their own wealth to them. Just as the first step to success is knowing your own potential, the second step is knowing the potential of others.

  • one person with a belief is equal to a force of ninety-nine who have only an interest. Anne Sullivan (Little Annie) had mental problem when she was young and locked up in the hospital and she was like an animal and hopeless. but one day a nurse came and and believed there is hope for all God's creatures and heal her. after long time later she became the teacher of Helen Keller

  • Alexander Graham Bell, he was a college professor and his wife had a hearing problem, so he devoted his spare time and energy to create a hearing device, but he failed this task. Bell missed one goal, but man kind benefited enormously because he dedicated himself to seeking a solution to someone else's problem.

  • You can only see in others what is inside of you. Look for the good in others. that's the best way to find the good in yourself.

  • Discipline is something you do for a child and not to a child. Discipline is directed at the object ional behavior of the child and is regarded as corrective love, so it is accepted by the individual. Punishment is a response that is directed at the individual and is regarded as a hostile thrust, so it is deeply resented.

  • Talking is sharing but listening is caring. Duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do them beautifully

    Segment Four: Goals

  • Are goals really necessary? the reason that most of people cannot reach their goal is that they don't have one. have you written your goals down. Have you answered the question of why you want to reach that particular goal? Have you explored what you need to know in order to reach this destination? Unless you have definite, precise, clearly set goals, you are not going to realize the maximums potential that lies within you. you will never make it as a Wandering Generality. You must be Meaningful Specific.

  • People often complain about lack of time when lack of direction is the real problem. Many experts say we should be arrested for murder when we kill time. but killing time is not murder, it is suicide.

  • Basic goal-reaching principle, you go as far as you can see, and when you get there you will always be able to see farther. With definite goals you release your own power and things start happening.

  • Many people say money is the roof of all evil, but it is true. the love of money is the root of all evil.

  • The activity is not accomplishment. many people confused activity with accomplishment. lots of work and lots of events are not necessarily accomplishment. Without goal there is no accomplishment. and you must measure the size of the accomplishment by the obstacles you have to overcome to reach your goals.

    Characteristics of Goals

    1. We need some big goals. because it takes a big goal to create the excitement necessary for maximum accomplishment

    2. Goal must be long range. without long range goal, you are likely to be overcome by short-range frustrations.

    3. Goal must be daily. if you expect to make it big, you must work toward your objective every day.

    4. Goal must be specific. The hunter who brings back the birds doesn't shoot the covey, he selects one quail as a specific target.

  • Whatever it is you do, there are many people in the same profession who are making significant contributions to that profession and are making a lot of money as a result. It's not the occupation or profession that makes you succeed or fail. It's how you see yourself and your occupation.

    The principle of goal-setting

    1. Keep record to find out where you are
    2. Commit to paper the goals you want to achieve on yearly, monthly and daily basis
    3. Be specific. Meaningful specific, not wandering generality.
    4. Set the goal big, but reachable. don't make any excuse for unreachable goal.
    5. Make the goal long-range
    6. List the obstacles between you and your goal and formulate a plan to overcome.
    7. Break your goal into daily increments
    8. Mentally prepared to discipline yourself to take necessary steps.
    9. Be confident that I can reach the goals
    10. Visualize yourself as already reaching your goals

  • Don't pay the price, you enjoy the benefits. You don't pay a price for good health, you enjoy the benefits of good health.

  • The goal has to be yours. Make sure that you have not been pressured into action by someone else.

  • If you want to reach your goal, you must "see the reaching" in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal. Enough "practice without pressure" regardless of your field of endeavor, will lead to better performance when there is pressure.

  • Looking Up. when things seem bad, look to see if you are not facing the wrong direction. when the outlook isn't good, try the uplook which is always good.

    Segment Five: Attitude

It's your attitude and not your aptitude that determines your altitude.

  • Your attitude is more important than your aptitude. 90% of our education is directed at acquiring facts and figures with only 10 % of our education aimed at our feeling or attitudes. Harvard University reveal that 85% of the reasons for success, accomplishments, promotion, etc., where because of our attitudes and only 15% because of our technical expertise (facts)

  • We can alter our lives by altering our attitudes.

  • Optimism. The person who is doing his best and is making a contribution is optimistic and confident because he is personally working on the solution. this is the difference between optimistic and pessimistic, if you are working on the solution then you would be optimistic, if you are not, then you would be pessimistic. In life, the difference between success and failure is often only an inch or two.

  • Attitude is the little thing that makes the big difference.

  • Enthusiasm. A positive attitude will have positive result because attitudes are contagious. Nothing great has ever been accomplished without enthusiasm. the word "enthusiasm" comes from the Greek works en theos and simply means "God within".

  • Real enthusiasm is not something you "put on" and "take off" to fit the occasion. It is a way of life and not something you use to impress people. It has nothing to do with being loud or noisy, It is an outward expression of an inner feeling.

  • Peter Drucker, Knowledge has to be improved, challenged and increased constantly or it vanishes.

  • Attitude control. The difference in accomplishment is primarily the difference in the way the negatives of life are handled. We can't tailor-make the situations of life, but we can tailor-make the attitude to fit them, before they arise. that's attitude control.

  • If you learn from a defeat, you haven't really lost.

  • When you sow an action, you reap a habit. when you sow a habit, you reap a character. and when you sow a character, you reap a destiny. You can't feel your way into a new way of acting, but you can act your way into a new way of feeling.

     Three kinds of Motivation

    1. Fear Motivation. In your work, if you don't increase your sales, you will be fired. Fear motivation will work for some people, but with most people doesn't because it causes resentment which leads to rebellion.

    2. Carrot Motivation. it can be incentive motivation, which is simple reward for accomplishment. if you raise your sales, you will get promoted. this approach will work for a while, but eventually the process will reaches a stage where it becomes impractical. Peoples reach a comfort zone and doesn't need more comfort or carrots.

    3. Thirsty Motivation, this is internal. the best way you can make your horse drink water is to make him thirsty. All motivation is "self" motivation.

  • You have heard most of it but chances are excellent that you have not really seen or heard it because you aren't utilizing the information for maximum results by doing something.

  • Baby Development Process. A baby is around older people who constantly talk, so the first step is exposure. Next, the baby tries to talk, which is imitation, Friends and relatives brag on the baby, which gives encouragement and motivates the baby to try again. This is the process of repetition. Then the baby starts adding words and trying them together into phrase or sentence. This procedure is refinement.

  • Habits. when you choose a habit, you often choose the end result of that habit. the habit has you before you are aware you have the habit. The chains of habit are too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.

  • Bad habit formation step. The sins or immoral acts that were so resistant originally become less object ional after a few additional exposures where "tolerance" is advocated as the most desirable virtue. Tolerance gradually changes to acceptance, and it changes to approval, which changes into involvement. Throughout the process, the rationalization procedure has been going full speed ahead.

    Segment Six: Work

  • Priming, pumping and producing. In order to get some water out of pump you have to put some water into it. you must first put something into life before you can expect to get anything out of it.

  • There is no way you can look at the outside of a pump and determine whether it will take two more strokes or two hundred more to bring forth the water. If you will pump long enough, hard enough and enthusiastically enough, sooner or later the effort will bring forth the reward.

  • If you start pumping casually or half-heartedly, you will pump forever before anything happens. Pump hard to begin with and keep it up until you get that water flowering. then a great deal will happen, you need a little extra push.

  • Success is not a destination, it's a journey. In you case you are well on your way and your are enjoying every step of it.

    Segment Seven: Desire

  • Desire is the ingredient that changes the hot water of mediocrity to the steam of outstanding success. Desire is the extra. Desire enables an individual to take whatever ability he has in whatever he is doing and utilize it to the maximum.

  • Desire forces an individual to pull out all the stops and give everything he's got. It enables him to go full speed ahead with nothing held back. Our yearning power is more important than our earning power.

  • Desire is the ingredient that makes the difference between an average performer and a champion.

  • Intelligence Ignorance. Desire creates intelligent ignorance. Intelligent ignorance is the gift of not knowing what you can't do, so you go ahead and do it. The Bumblebee can fly because he doesn't know he can fly.
